for Participants in the RAV Support Programme (Zurich)

Preparing your business foundation with individual coaching

 

Are you registered with the Zurich Employment Centre (RAV) and have you been granted administrative or marketing coaching support by the Fachstelle Selbständigkeit (Self-Employment Office)? If so, this offer is intended for you.

This coaching helps you work through the key administrative and marketing topics relevant at this stage. You will receive guidance and practical tools that support you in clarifying your next steps and implementing them independently.

BOOK AN INTRODUCTORY CALL

Obtain RAV approval for your coaching

 

As a rule, the RAV Zurich will ask you to find a suitable coaching provider yourself.

In the free initial consultation, we will discuss:

  • your current situation and starting point
  • whether administrative coaching or marketing coaching is right for you

Then:

  • I will prepare an offer in accordance with the specifications of the Fachstelle Selbständigkeit
  • You submit this offer to the RAV for approval

Once the funding has been approved:

  • we plan your coaching appointments
  • and determine how to structure the approved hours.

Administrative Coaching

Formal foundations for self-employment in Switzerland

 

Administrative coaching addresses key administrative and regulatory questions related to setting up a self-employed activity in Switzerland.

  • Primarily delivered online (via Zoom)
  • Standard scope: 10 sessions of 60 minutes each

Topics may include

  • Legal form and liability

  • Financial basics, bookkeeping and VAT

  • Social security contributions (AHV, UVG, BVG)

  • Clarification of individual questions related to your situation

Scope and boundaries
This coaching supports you in preparing for self-employment during the planning phase.
Operational business activities and client acquisition are not part of the coaching at this stage.

In addition to administrative coaching, marketing coaching may also be supported as part of the funding scheme.

Marketing Coaching

Positioning and visibility

 

Marketing coaching addresses fundamental marketing-related questions in the context of preparing for self-employment.

  • Primarily delivered online (via Zoom).
  • Standard scope: 10 sessions of 60 minutes each.

Topics may include

  • Target audience and positioning

  • A coherent external presence

  • Assessment of possible marketing measures

  • Reflection on existing ideas and materials

Scope and boundaries
This coaching supports you in preparing for self-employment during the planning phase.
The operational development of marketing materials or a detailed marketing strategy is not part of the coaching.

If needed, external specialist support can be involved

About the provider

Anke Berning works with individuals who, within the framework of the RAV Zurich self-employment support scheme, are preparing to become self-employed.

Her focus is on clarifying administrative and marketing-related questions in the context of setting up a self-employed activity.

Professional background
Certified training in life and business coaching (completed at an eduQua-certified institute), along with experience supporting self-employment projects in Switzerland.
